Purcell Marian Athletic Director Jamar Mosley has announced that Lawrence Jackson will be the next Head Girls Volleyball Coach.

Jackson was the head girls volleyball coach at Withrow High School from 2020-2024 where he improved the team's record from 1-11 to 15-4. In 2024, the team went undefeated in the Cincinnati Metro Athletic Conference - Red and won the conference championship. In the same season, Jackson was named the CMAC Coach of the Year. He coached the CMAC Player of the year in 2023 and 2024 and helped student-athletes to earn twenty one all conference honors during his tenure at Withrow.

Prior to holding the head coaching position at Withrow, Jackson spent two seasons as an assistant coach in the program.

"We are excited to welcome Coach Jackson to The Castle," said Athletic Director Jamar Mosley. "He has experience building a program and bringing the best out of his student-athletes."

The volleyball team went 7-16 this year. The team opens their season next season at Middletown Madison on August 22, 2026.
