"DJ during the month of November has consistently attended practice and also dryland on Saturday mornings after in the pool training. DJ has been giving extra effort in the pool and out of the pool to work on improving his distance events. He has taken time to ask the coaches questions to understand race strategy for a distance race. DJ arrives early to practice and is ready to begin practice on time every single day. DJ is encouraging to his teammates during practices especially during difficult sets. DJ during the first meet of the season (St. Bernard and Roger Bacon) posted a lifetime best time in the 50 Freestyle. " - Head Swim Coach, Erica Schomaker
